Bio:

Ian is the Director of Sustainability for Taylor Wimpey UK Ltd, one of the UK’s largest house builders. He is responsible for the development and delivery of Taylor Wimpey’s sustainability policy and strategy. He has spent the last year developing and launching an environment strategy. This is focussed on the major challenges of climate change, nature and the circular economy.

Ian studied geology at Southampton University and then Environmental Technology at Imperial College. Ian’s career started at an air quality start up and with environmental consultancy practices ERM and RPS. For the last twenty-four years he has been working within the construction sector, initially on large civil engineering projects with Taylor Woodrow, but since 2002 within the house building sector.
