Bio:

Daniel is currently a PhD student at the University of Birmingham where he is conducting research related to advanced analytics for risk and resiliency assessment of power systems. His background is in the utility industry, having previously spent seven years working at a large United States utility, Southern California Edison (SCE). At SCE he held a variety of positions in the areas of Distribution Engineering, Transmission Planning, and Demand and Distributed Energy Resource Forecasting. He is also a licensed professional engineer in the state of California.
