Bio:

Dr Emma Ferranti holds an EPSRC Fellowship at the University of Birmingham. She works on a range of projects with national and international stakeholders to examine the impact of weather and climate on infrastructure and the built environment. She is an author on the Infrastructure chapter of the forthcoming UK Climate Change Risk Assessment, specialising on the interdependencies between infrastructure systems. She is also an advocate for green infrastructure and the role it can play within linear infrastructure systems to increase natural capital, support net zero targets, and contribute to climate resilience.
