Bio:
Since August 2020, Eliane has been the Operations Director for Distribution South at SSE plc, a multi-national energy company.
Eliane has a strong portfolio working in water companies, having worked at VEOLIA Water UK Limited for 7 years in various leadership roles and as Water Director at The Northumbrian Water Group prior to SSE.
In 2008 Eliane joined Network Rail as a Strategic Planner. In 2012 she was promoted to Head of Strategic Planning playing a role in developing their strategic business plan. She also led the interface and dialogue with key stakeholders both in the UK and internationally.
She has a strong track record in leading asset management policies, benchmarking programs and efficiency plans in regulated network industries, and strategic planning.
Eliane has a B98 in Civil Engineering from Ecole speciale des Travaux publics, du Batiment et de l’industrie. She has a MSC in Water Resources and a Ph.D in Civil Engineering from the University of Glasgow.
